So, you are actually expecting a team to give us at least two 1st rounders then, right? Yes or no?
Uhhhh, yeah, that's Lommy"s asking price. And I'm glad he's asking it. I hope he don't drop it next season either. It just goes to show what those 2fers do to a team. Payton bailed and if I was Loomy I wouldn't budge. And as far as the 2 for 1 deal goes I'll simplify things for you: If i had 2 dollars and the asking price for a coach or player was $2 asking price and I decide to pay it for either I'm out $2 either way. Simple math. Same rules apply to picks or money. And the only team that can afford Lommy"s asking price is Houston. Also goes to show how much power Payton really has.

Hooooold on - I was told SP was 70% likely to return to Fox. Why the interviews...?

Since when did 70% become synonymous with 100%? Why wouldn't he interview the teams? If there was a 30% chance they could convince him to join them then why not? It isn't like he doesn't have the time. LOL! He only works a few hours a week with that cushy studio gig. Due diligence.

The biggest barrier to CSP returning to coaching is the easy money from Fox. Nuts how much being a talking head can pay.

Except he's got at least three high maintenance properties in various parts of the country, not the least of which the cost of living in L.A. is beyond ridiculous. And I am sure the former Miss WV has a certain standard of living expectation he needs to keep up with.

I'm sure he's not having money issues. It would be very difficult to spend that $10 million a year Fax is paying, not to mention all of his endorsement deals. They probably double that amount.

Who says that's Loomis' asking price? Some blogger dude? Loomis himself supposedly said the interested teams were told a 1st plus a package of other picks. That supposed two 1st's were mentioned by others as a comparison to the Raiders/Bucs Gruden deal, which by the way, the Bucs got screwed on.

But, I'm sure you are right and we'll get the two 1st's.

Now you're coming around. Takes awhile for the light comes on but sooner or later the light shines thru.
