Who says that's Loomis' asking price? Some blogger dude? Loomis himself supposedly said the interested teams were told a 1st plus a package of other picks. That supposed two 1st's were mentioned by others as a comparison to the Raiders/Bucs Gruden deal, which by the way, the Bucs got screwed on.

But, I'm sure you are right and we'll get the two 1st's.

If you ran a franchise would you fork over your next two first rounders plus others for Payton instead of just signing some other head coach for draft compensation? Saints fans would freak out if the shoe was on the other foot.
