Don't be surprised to see the Saints select a big ugly (G) early in next month's draft to compete and eventually take Peat's job in 2024.

Past history (without checking I think he's been on IR 3+ times over his career) says Peat will not finish the upcoming season with some sort of injury :rolleyes:.

Hopefully he proves he can still be one of the very best WR's in the league for the 2023 season and can collect that bonus the following year. His cap hit for 2024 would only be about $13.943 million. That is dirt cheap for a frontline WR in today's game.

A solid season and there's little doubt he'll be back for 2024 ... and most likely beyond.
