Yup. After we win the Super Bowl all of our coaches are going to get snatched up. ;)

He’s not done either 🏆.

Once again it makes you wonder? Is it the Coach, The QB and Skill Players? A combination of both? The Chiefs "new" #10 is a faster and cheaper Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs have the winning combination of a GREAT GM and a GOOD COACH.

That same Coach made it to the SB once with the Eagles and lost.

I firmly believe Sean Payton stuck around last season to prove to himself and others he could indeed "Win" with a QB other than Brees. After all Teddy went 5 - 0 & Taysom Hill has a winning record.

Yet the presumed QB whisperer was unable to whisper us a replacement for Brees. His attempts feel not just incomplete but half hearted sometimes, even though they are not .

How realistic was it for anyone to find us a replacement for Brees? The man is going to be a first ballot hall of famer. It may take a couple of decades to find anyone that some would consider a replacement. We just need to draft one every year even if to serve as a practice squad filler/camp body until we get lucky.

We have to remember that Drew Brees did not become a Hall of Famer until he met Sean Payton. San Diego had already drafted his replacement before he injured his shoulder. Another thing to consider is that the Saints never used a high draft pick on a quarterback and the quarterbacks they had were lacking the tools to be successful. He did get the most out of Taysom Hill.

Interesting reminder. How is it even remotely possible that the Chargers were able to evaluate good enough to draft a damn good QB like what they got?

They got lucky. Although, they were wanting an excuse to insert Philip Rivers the whole time he was there. Brees was solid, but was never great with the Chargers. Although, they didn't draft Rivers. They drafted Eli Manning and he refused to play for them so the Giants drafted Rivers and they traded.

I feel drafting a QB is always luck ... good or bad. Bad far and away more often than good. Nobody can tell for certain how any college QB will translate to the NFL game. If they claim they can then they're lying.

Another of our supposedly horrendous coaches is drawing interest. Go figure.
