Do we give Winston another shot coming in healthy?

Do we look do trade for someone like Carr? Lamar?

Do we take our new found draft picks and trade up and spend the wad on a rookie and throw him out there day one?

Micahael Thomas for QB

I hear ya'

But there's the thing. It does not mean picking a QB that is being rated a round 1 or 2 pick. It is the organisation having the smarts to recognise what the QB proved what he can already do e.g. good eyes, accurate arm, composure in the face of pressure, durability. All aspects that are not that difficult to determine from the the budding NFL QB's multi-years at college. And then determine their dedication to improvement; e.g. attandance at the Manning Passing Academy.

When th eplayer comes to the Saints, protect the guy with a decent offensive line.

Alas, too much is put on the pure athleticism. Yeah, it is excicitng to see athletes being atgheltic, but for a QB let's ensure he is accurate.

WHODAT!!!

So many playoff teams FIRING coaches after the season. Even Dallas (made it to the divisional round) declined to renew the contracts of 5 coaches.

Meanwhile, the Saints parted ways with Dan Roushar .

Saints have no QB, a 2012 style of offense, AK is going to miss multiple games in 2023 & a substitute teacher at HC.

2023 could be rough.

I'd like to just draft a quarterback who has the potential to be a top-tier player. However, I don't think we have the coaching staff to develop a Young quarterback. I feel pretty confident that this team will bring in a veteran to continue to run Sean Payton's system. We really need a front office shake up and coaching shake up. Get ready to just continue shaking your head like I'm doing. Dang!

So we're tanking for the #1 pick next year then? Maybe that's a strategy we need to follow, the same one Cincy did, neaux?

And folks are actually looking forward to 2024 or 2025 already. That's painful.

Yep, I just bought my new Saints flag. I'm not nearly as excited about a new season as I would normally be but nonetheless, I am a Saints fan! I can be down on my team and still pull for them at the same time.

Why not Bennett for a day two pick? He looks the part between the ears.
