There are multiple videos out there where physicians speak on this injury. There’s no way an athlete could perform with this injury. Hence why surgery was required.

Re: Can't Guard Mike

I guess.

Underhill (or maybe it was Triplett) was among the 1st to predict the Saints and Michael Thomas were headed for divorce following the contract "tweak".

I got roasted on this forum a few months ago when I said the divorce was all but final with Sean Payton & New Orleans.
There was one person in particular who had all of the insight and just assumed he would pull a Bill Cowher move & stay in the Fox booth. Yeah right .

Guess we'll see what happens with MT this off-season.

At this point, I could care less if he stays or goes.

Tend to agree. Nonerheless there is a part of me that secretly wants him to make up for his lack of playing and earn the rest of his contract .

Can't get those years of production(lack of) back. i think he's a very talented guy but his contract and being consistanly hurt( his fault or not) makes me want to replace him. i not looking for a game changer like he can be but someone who has the ability to produce well when his # is called and can stay healthy and comes way cheaper. A good 2nd rounder this year would do well with what we have now.

Tell your coaching staff to not encourage injured guys to play through it for other players careers

One thing that's guaranteed ,MT don't play thru anything. Mahomes just played with an injury, many players do. MT's not special, he can easily be replaced. Ever see one go back to the locker room and come back looking fine.MT hasn't come close to actually earning his contract money, there are players that can and will actually earn their money. I can't wait to see this guy go and get his replacement. What if's don't work for me. Waiting 3 years don't work for me either. He can sell popcorn in the stands for all I care. Just get rid of his no production a$$!!

I've said it all along - we are better with MT than without.

As a fan, I'm just over it all - the same way I'm over guys like Peat...

I suppose that most of us feel this way. The guy is a terrific WR. No one but Thomas knows if he's giving 100% effort or if he got his money and mailed it in. Signs point to mailing it in when he made himself unavailable to the organization of which he is employed but again, no one but Thomas knows where his heart is.
