New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has missed extensive time over the last three years due to a series of lower-leg injuries, and he’s made his frustrations with that experience very clear. Between a botched tightrope surgery on one ankle and a misdiagnosed toe injury in his other foot, he has plenty to take issue with.

Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh
I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time..."

This is why we need to rebuild. First step should be to fire our medical team, get a medical team in Houston or something that is top notch, buy a team plane, have the Houston team direct our medical operations with only the basics occuring in New Orleans. Then we should look at our players like Thomas, Peat, and Hill who have been injured repeatedly like they are houses with big mortgages that have been extensively renovated by Tim Allen's character from Home Improvement, which is essentially what the Saints doctors are. We should not want to keep those houses. We should especially not want to have big mortages on those houses. Things are going to break, and taking out second mortgages to cover the repairs will not be a good investment. Its not that the houses want to break, its that the contractor was a disaster and now there are cracks hiding beneath the sheet rock. If you know the Saints doctors are bad, then you have to realize our previously injured players who have been treated by them the most are now essentially products of their work. Let the Falcons pay for those products. Let the Bucs and Panthers pay for those products. Cut them loose, whatever it takes, the doctors and their handiwork.

Yes. My Saints. And if there is a lawsuit then so be it. Maybe the haters will finally realize they have been seriously misjudging Michael Thomas all along.

But maybe not. You know what they say ... hater's gonna hate.

Yup. That was the misdiagnoses I believe on Thomas. Rumors were the Saints doctors said it was turf toe, which as most informed people know can be serious in itself, but it was actually a dislocation which can be far more serious.
