Re: Can't Guard Mike
We have 7 draft picks and we signed our QB before free agency even began. The overall theme of doom and gloom is a little premature. There are excellent options at RB in free agency. Inexpensive options at that. There are some wonderful running backs in the draft. We’re in position to draft an interior defensive lineman like Calijah Kancey or a a guard like O’Cyrus Thomas. Antonio Johnson is a perfect prospect to fill the need at safety/nickel. Idk where this idea is coming from that we’re a million pieces away. You don’t have to be great at every position to win a Super Bowl. You just need to be healthy and hot. This roster is far from devoid of talent. This isn’t the Texans.

To your point that could all change in a single offseason. Unless it isn't. |

Running Back is the easiest problem to solve. There’s so many great options out there. We could easily return to the RB by committee formula that brought us success back in the day. Peat has been a problem. I see both rookies and vets that could stabilize that position for less money than he makes. I don’t see an issue at WR if we’re reworking MT. I’m not declaring him dead like most of the other contributors. We could definitely afford to upgrade at TE, but Juwan Johnson continues to make improvements every year. Backup QB is an easy fix as well. Dalton. Teddy B. Rookie. It’s a lot options. |

Point is, NO ONE else in the NFC is head and shoulders above the rest of the league.
