I'm glad the first two picks for the Saints draft this year get at least one year to learn from one of the best Saints players ever in Cam Jordan.

Shaq Davis a good WR. Great UDFA pick up.

Big receivers seem to be the trend in the DA era

Speaking of receivers, keep an eye on Bryan Edwards.

There is already some familiarity with DCarr.

Yea I keep forgetting about that guy. Went watch some video on him and watching him and Carr’s chemistry together is good stuff. I’m thinking Carr may rely on him a little more at first until he gets more comfortable with shaheed,Olave, and any other one of our plethora of wr’s we picked up that surface to the top of the chart. Oh and Juwan J of course! Man I’m ready for this season to kick off

Just looked up Edwards and saw that he only played 7 games last year with 15 receiving yards after a 500+ yards season in 2021. Did/is he hurt ?

Not hurt. He started the season with Atlanta and was only used sparingly over the first 11 weeks. He was then waived by Atlanta and picked up by Kansas City and never played.

He was playing rather well & developing out in Oakland up until Josh McD came out there a year later & kinda messed up the chemistry .

As for Atlanta, just a mess of an offense and the timing was way off with Mariota, not to mention he was a little 'dinged' up with a sore shoulder.

I will say this, his hands aren't nearly as good as MT however he's the same size & can stretch the field. IMO he can field the "X" role from a physical standpoint. Good insurance policy for "Can't Call Mike".

IMO Edwards is an upgrade over Callaway. Reuniting with DCarr could help ignite his young career. Lots of potential.

Camp awaits.

Are you going to make it out to training camp later this summer?

Never been, which is sad because I live only 2 hours away, but really would like to. Been saying that for a while. I’m gonna make a serious effort to go this year and bring my son along. You?

50/50 for this year's camp but it's time :p.

The last time I made it down to Metarie, Kenny Vacarro was a rookie. BTW, KV is a nice young man.
