Since 2018 in the first round we have drafted Davenport. Traded away our 2019 pick. Drafted Ruiz in 2020 to play center because McCoy wasn't good his first year. He never lost his spot and an undersized center is then moved to guard where he is adequate. In 2021 Payton joined the hot tub club. 2022 was costly because of trades for two players. Olave was a really good draft pick and Trevor Penning is likely a bust. Bryan Bresee looks promising.

We missed on Davenport, Turner, and Penning. That's half of our first rounders who were misses in the draft. Surely, we can do better! We do much better drafting in the second round though where we find great value.

Definitely need to bring in more guys to compete for the starting job in 2024. Inconsistencies & shanks really put your defense in bad spots.
I wonder if we'll burn two draft picks again for a rookie punter?
