I like him and I saw good progress last year but I need to see more before I give him more money.
Offensive linemen do not grow on trees. They are arguably the hardest positions to fill. Who knows, it may take five years to find another guard as good as Ruiz is now. And then you'd also be dealing with trying to fit a new piece into the OL unit which in itself is never easy. I don't think there's any chance Ruiz gets a chance to walk. But, I guess I could be wrong. There's always a first time.
