I do want to make it clear that young players that are going to be depth for the team do need all the reps they can get. If they don't get better, they won't be on the 53 anyway. I'm talking about veteran starters with long careers and older bodies. Rest will do them more good than reps. Give those reps to the UFDAs and rookies so they can get up to speed. Guys like Ram, Peat, Ruiz, Cam, Granderson, Davis, even MT13 really have nothing to prove at this point. The only thing these guys need to be doing is getting ready for training camp. SFIAH |

Re: 2023 Saints OTA Thread
That's a good listen.
Initial takeaways here : - DCarr likes to practice "sleeveless". Must be a Cali thing - Moreau's quality of LIFE is GOOD & he's feeling good - LBs appear smallish (excluding DD) & depth is thin & inexperienced - Rashid appears to have added a little "bulk" & also changed numbers - Cam J still loves the game (put up the banner when he's done) - AT Perry has a lot of work to do if he wants to make the team - Adebo isn't a "lock" at CB2 (Taylor is hungry & has swag) - WR spot #4-6 must make a lasting impression on special teams/gunner to get a roster spot Can't wait for camp |
