I've mentioned this before, but I believe you can tie Kamara's reduced production over the past couple of years directly to the massive number of injuries to the offensive line and QB's. That all had to have had a detrimental affect on both Carmichael's playcalling options and Kamara's output.

The trouble is we go into 2023 with basically the same oline but a year older. We added some mid round pick and a journeyman 1st round bust but we did not proritize the position. Kamara still depends on Peat, and unfortunately for him the Saints are not a hot dog eating contest team.

I wouldn’t be worried if AK can run behind that line. I’d be more concerned with the other RBs and if the line will hold for Carr. I think it will. But we need more depth. |
