I'm basically just relaying what I expect the Saints to do. They know what he is better than any of us. It simply wouldn't surprise me if he makes the squad again. It does no good to have a #5 WR that can run good routes, get open, and can't block worth a crap. ![]() |

Well. He can block. He runs the wrong routes though, and creates no separation to get open. We can do better. If we are able to replace him then I'm sure that we would have upgraded the position. I'm glad that you don't care if we lose him because he aggravates the snot out of me. Lol |

I'll give you that he's not great at creating separation, but that's why he's a WR4 or WR5 and not a top 3. But, when has he had issues runs wrong routes? It's impossible to tell that just by watching. I heard that before from coaches and players. Only his own coach or players could point that out and I don't recall anything like that from any of them. I could be wrong, but you know I read everything ever written about the Saints and have a pretty good memory. Being retired I spend probably six hours a day sitting at my computer wasting time doing nothing but searching the web about any news Saints related. Been doing that for years. ![]()

There are better #5 depth players out there that can do more than just block. It's been quite awhile since we poached a practice squad player. Anyways, it shouldn't be that hard or expensive to upgrade the position. The Saints certainly brought in stiff competition for him this year. I guess if he sticks around then he's earned it. |
