Re: Kamara pleads no contest to misdemeanor charge
I watched his video addressing the media after his meeting with Goodell and I was impressed. He didn't shy away and seemed to admit he was completely in the wrong for what he did. Thats a good first step; admitting there was no excuse for what he did and he got himself into the mess. I'm not convinced he believes it...but at least he is saying the correct things.

Re: Kamara pleads no contest to misdemeanor charge
One could say the same for you, my friend. I really thought you were going to see Kamara as what he is ... a very intelligent young man that was raised right and knew he made a mistake. Why would you think he doesn't believe what he said? You said you learned from your mistakes. I believed you. Shouldn't I? Is he that different than you or me?
Edit: This is not any sort of attack. It is just me as a friend trying to understand you better. |

However, he doesn't have millions of dollars at stake. His paycheck doesn't depend upon his response at all. But, I get it. I think I know where you're coming from. By the way, I'll refrain from "attacking" you if you refrain from the name calling. You are better than that, Boston. |

Re: Kamara pleads no contest to misdemeanor charge
You know, I never really bought into the whole “Goodell hates us” mantra but this suspension is odd. 3 games not only seems very lenient compared to what's been handed to us in the past but pretty lenient compared to what we've seen around the NFL as a whole. I'm thinking Goodell the 3 game suspension might in part be a middle finger to Payton. You know Payton is thinking if he were here it would have been longer.
It's going to be interesting to see if all that “Goodell hate” follows him to Denver. Edit I'm sure Guido is scripting some contrary post as I write this edit but it does make you think |
