Re: Observations from Saint's victory vs Chargers
Jameis Winston is laughing all the way to bank. We don’t save a penny if we cut him so he is guaranteed to make the team. Then in 2024 we owe $11 million if he walks, so Loomis will likely offer him more to stay and defer the cap hit.
Nick Kroll does not have what it takes to play TE in the NFL. We should go young at WR. There is more upside. Andrus Peat should have been playing for his job today. Giving him the game off sends the wrong message. As a pass rusher Foskey has the killer instinct to close plays of a cast member at a haunted house pretending like he might grab someone. Haener makes quick decisions, hits the seems, and is accurate on many throws. Winston is clumsy on the short and intermediate stuff so teams dont have to respect that and he has to throw into double coverage or worse deep. But like I said his contract makes Winston a Saint for life. He may be alright with our starting receivers who are better jump ball deep threats. The refs showed once again they will screw us. This has to count minus 2-3 wins for our season. Chargers MVP: Refs Saints MVP: Easton Stick |
