If Krull doesn't miraculously cure all of those drops he may not make it to the start of the season with Payton's patience.

But, I'll keep up with a Krull vs. Graham tracking.

However, I do see that the cow guy is still spreading his Saints hate.

And the shuffling continues. I wonder what the corresponding move will be? The article says Mims or Tony Jones Jr., but their spots were already open.

If he were such a hot commodity, why hasn't any team scooped him up yet? My guess is when an injury occurs somewhere, he'll get a call then.

Not convinced Jones Jr was any better. Maybe this was a move to prevent SP from stashing this RB on their PS.

Probably because that was someone putting out false information. As I mentioned before, if the Saints could have got a conditional 2025 7th rounder for him they absolutely would have. They aren't stupid. Don't believe everything you hear from the internet. Agents and GM's float out bullcrap info all the time.

Where would you utilize Taysom Hill on next Sunday coach? The Titans are stout against the run. Is Merrit still on the squad?

Jones Jr ain't good enough & the rookie Miller is already showing durability (may not play next week) concerns.

So you’re saying you’re only a fan when winning? That’s not a real fan. That’s a bandwagon fan. When your kids don’t get all A’s on their report card do you not claim them until the next 9 weeks?

Once again, what will make this team better? Someone once said if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. BTW, there is a big difference between criticism and constructive criticism. Of course, there are many personality types some are more positive than others.

I'm not a moderator though. I'm just a man looking to have a good time with people of a like mind. :peace:

your argument is a stupid argument... my kids are not payed hundred thousands of dollars much less millions of dollars to get grades; and i supported my 3 daughters through college, all with degrees.... :beatnik:

The MEN on the playing field do, and if you have to pay to watch them play a friggin game; albeit a battle, they fn better perform according to their pay scale... ya know, like any other job/career one may have.:apu: now, pull your chain again....

Map is a fan. He’s just a fan of the old school. The guys that went out and played like warriors. Money was important, but respect was a different thing. It had nothing to do with respect.

He’s just pissed that it’s not like it used to be.

There’s a part of me that thinks the same way guys. The same damn way.

Sports has lost its way. Many Americans have.

Map, you just keep it up. That’s why we live here. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with having high expectations for the Saints. The name alone should say something. Something stronger. And better.

It all boils down to money and that other thing(see Coach Prime).
I don’t find myself watching another person’s money. Pocket watching only leads to hate.
If a person is one the best 1600ish in the WORLD at their profession, I have no problem with them being compensated accordingly.

I see your point. Although, I'm not sure which coach could have come in and identified the weaknesses in the roster and bring in quality players like DA did this offseason. Who is the coach that you wanted to come in to fix the Saints? Which players did we not draft that you liked?

Okay, I'll bite. What coach is it that the Saints "let go"? Sean Payton? That wasn't their choice, it was his.

As for players, every team loses players these days. Quality players. It's just the way things work in the present day free agency era. You have to make the tough decision when pay them or not. Sometimes, as in the case of Andrus Peat, it was the lack of players at that position in the free agent pool. They simply felt the best move was to pay him.

And mediocre? We've had two years of unprecedented injuries to key personnel. That can make the best of rosters look mediocre. Before that we've had the greatest decade and a half run of success in franchise history.

Re: Trades & Cuts

On the kicker thing I would not worry too much about whether Blake Grupe can handle the pressure in the regular season. It might be more pressure from our fan perspective, but from his perspective even one missed kick in preseason could easily have led him to not making the team and never getting a chance in the NFL. A rookie kicker who has a bad game in a preseason audition has very little chance to ever recover. Now that he is the day 1 starter, I think he actually has more margin for error than he did in the preseason. If anything, I might worry more if he can handle less pressure and still stay focused when its not do or die every day.

Interesting point. I think along with this idea was the big kick he hit to win the pre-season game against the Chargers. That was in a stadium with fans, and You could tell by how excited the team was, and how they rallied around him that it was a big moment. That was the point I seriously thought that we could have him as our new kicker.

I agree. I'd venture to say that Grupe has a sizable chip on his shoulder given his smallish size and youthful appearance. I suspect he was questioned at every level about his ability just based upon that itself. I can see those factors developing a sharp edge.

Saints Organization failed to keep Payton interested and hungry... now we get to see his skills make the Bronco's a contender..

Quality players are lacking, and those that are quality have issues...ya know, the prima donna thing, and the thug thing.... and HAS Beens.... seems like the saints of old. (pre Payton)

I think it was more about how Taylor fits DA's scheme. No team was willing to bite on the trade. Roby will most likely latch on to another squad after a injuries start mounting across the league.

IMO Isaac Yiadom was another factor for moving on from Roby.

We'll see.

I "unblocked" you yesterday since I saw you actually posting real football related stuff again in other person's replies. Welcome back!

Maybe the only way you can find satisfaction is by changing teams. You already seem fickle enough with the Saints. It shouldn't be hard to find another team. You're always welcome to come back to Who Dat Nation when you discover you're wrong.

It must be sad to have so much pent up hatred. Feel sorry for you, my friend.

Gonna have to wait until just before Halloween. The 2023 trade deadline is October 31. Nobody is likely to unload a viable offensive lineman until they are well out of the running and dumping salary just before the deadline.
