But, I'll keep up with a Krull vs. Graham tracking. However, I do see that the cow guy is still spreading his Saints hate. :D |
Re: Trades & Cuts
And the shuffling continues. I wonder what the corresponding move will be? The article says Mims or Tony Jones Jr., but their spots were already open.

Jones Jr ain't good enough & the rookie Miller is already showing durability (may not play next week) concerns. |

Most fans join a fan board to root for their team. I don't know why you're even here.....besides, of course, maybe you enjoy stirring the pot. :poke: |
So you’re saying you’re only a fan when winning? That’s not a real fan. That’s a bandwagon fan. When your kids don’t get all A’s on their report card do you not claim them until the next 9 weeks?[/QUO
Been a fan since Billy Kilmer was under center.... so thats that.... your argument is a stupid argument... my kids are not payed hundred thousands of dollars much less millions of dollars to get grades; and i supported my 3 daughters through college, all with degrees.... :beatnik: The MEN on the playing field do, and if you have to pay to watch them play a friggin game; albeit a battle, they fn better perform according to their pay scale... ya know, like any other job/career one may have.:apu: now, pull your chain again.... |

Never said anything not nice.... just factual statements supported by my view.... If what the current saints football team is satisfactory to you,....enjoy. \ I expect they do more... afterall, the saints are a superbowl champion. :beatnik: Mediocre just don't cut it anymore. |
Re: Trades & Cuts
Map is a fan. He’s just a fan of the old school. The guys that went out and played like warriors. Money was important, but respect was a different thing. It had nothing to do with respect.
He’s just pissed that it’s not like it used to be. There’s a part of me that thinks the same way guys. The same damn way. Sports has lost its way. Many Americans have. Map, you just keep it up. That’s why we live here. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with having high expectations for the Saints. The name alone should say something. Something stronger. And better. |

Re: Trades & Cuts
It all boils down to money and that other thing(see Coach Prime).
I don’t find myself watching another person’s money. Pocket watching only leads to hate. If a person is one the best 1600ish in the WORLD at their profession, I have no problem with them being compensated accordingly. |

As for players, every team loses players these days. Quality players. It's just the way things work in the present day free agency era. You have to make the tough decision when pay them or not. Sometimes, as in the case of Andrus Peat, it was the lack of players at that position in the free agent pool. They simply felt the best move was to pay him. And mediocre? We've had two years of unprecedented injuries to key personnel. That can make the best of rosters look mediocre. Before that we've had the greatest decade and a half run of success in franchise history. |
Re: Trades & Cuts
On the kicker thing I would not worry too much about whether Blake Grupe can handle the pressure in the regular season. It might be more pressure from our fan perspective, but from his perspective even one missed kick in preseason could easily have led him to not making the team and never getting a chance in the NFL. A rookie kicker who has a bad game in a preseason audition has very little chance to ever recover. Now that he is the day 1 starter, I think he actually has more margin for error than he did in the preseason. If anything, I might worry more if he can handle less pressure and still stay focused when its not do or die every day.

proven my point.... Saints Organization failed to keep Payton interested and hungry... now we get to see his skills make the Bronco's a contender.. Quality players are lacking, and those that are quality have issues...ya know, the prima donna thing, and the thug thing.... and HAS Beens.... seems like the saints of old. (pre Payton) Injuries.... meh, get QUALITY backup... MEN with the heart to play. ....thought you blocked me. :beatnik: |

Maybe the only way you can find satisfaction is by changing teams. You already seem fickle enough with the Saints. It shouldn't be hard to find another team. You're always welcome to come back to Who Dat Nation when you discover you're wrong. It must be sad to have so much pent up hatred. Feel sorry for you, my friend. :bng: |
