Ram is my biggest disappointment so far. He has been nowhere near how he have looked the last couple of years.

Still good however no longer elite.

I wonder if he's having lingering knee issues?

He didn’t look bad the first two weeks, and Carr was kind of holding the ball a little too long.

Top three in passes defended. Not bad.

Re: 2023 New Orleans Saints: Regular Season News

Good to know that some players are performing well, but big picture our defense hasn't been very good (currently rank #18) over the last few weeks.

Tackling was poor vs the Bucs.

Defensive power rankings

Usual suspects (Niners, Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, Dallas) at the top.

That pass defended stat is interesting, no doubt they are doing something well, but the bigger question is why are teams going at them so hard? My theory is they do not make a ton of interceptions, so keep going at them and eventually they will make a mistake. Just a guess...??

An even uglier defensive stat is that the Bucs were ranked 30th in terms of rushing yards per game coming into that game. We're talking High School bad ...

Baker Mayfield had more rushing yards than Alvin Kamara & Taysom Hill .
