Maybe it’s not considered a drop because it didn’t hit his hands but in the chest between the 1 and 2. Maybe not a drop because he possibly stepped out of bounds before the ball caved his chest in.

Love converted on that 2 pt conversion (Latt) ...

Love throwing (on Issac's side) a rainbow to Reed with 4:00 left in the game.

Love backshoulder (on Issac's side) TD pass to Dobbs under 3 min for the go ahead score. Never understood why Allen didn't give Issac any help late.

Jordan Love was meh most of the game but when it mattered most ... man he cooked our CBs.

Yes. And I may be petty-homer guy but those last second PI calls were gifts for the Packers.

I went back and found the play-by-play in the boxscore and double checked it against the individual defensive stats. The defender on that play, Keisean Nixon, was targeted three times for the game. He gave up two completions and had one Pass Defended. That play was where he was credited with the Pass Defended because he got a hand on the ball before it got into the body of Olave. If you go back and watch the play again you'll see that. BTW, you cannot have a dropped pass and a pass defended on the same play anyway.

But, I believe you are right, cmike, had it not been deflected by Nixon Olave may not have been able to get the feet down in bounds anyway.

Yes they were. Love was one for seven passing on that drive. 67 of the 80 yards came off those two penalties.

You’re right Ice but no way should the Saints
have blown a 17 point lead late like that.

Notice how Philly, KC, Bills, MIA (usual suspects) put teams out
of their misery by attacking, leaving no doubt & out of the Zebras hands.

I’m on to Tampa 🫡.

On the game day thread, no one questioned whether it was a drop or not. Most were curious why Carr didn’t throw it to MT13 instead. Vilma immediately commented and said Carr shouldn’t have thrown it there and got lucky that the pass wasn’t picked.

We don't attack late in the game. Instead, we go into prevent defense way too early and allow them to get back in the game. We play not to lose and then we lose when we take our foot off the other teams throat and get a big fat "L".

I agree and said that in the game day thread.

Solid breakdown on Ramz vs GB & Oline woes by Deuce W. Roughly 16 min listen.
He even touches on the Yankee Concept (routes & Carr holding onto the ball too long) starting around 16:35.

Hopefully Doug Marrone is adjusting, giving guys help across the entire oline. Tampa won't do us any favors, especially coming off a dominating loss on national TV.

1st place in the NFC SOUTH DIVISON IS ON THE LINE here.
