I don't trust a sky judge either. We insulted the holy brotherhood fraternity of refs when we criticized their holinesses after the no call. They will never forgive us.
The solution we should push for is AI based officiating. Technology is advancing rapidly. Sensors can be be placed in the balls and AI can consider 50 video angles in a second. The code could be open sourced. The only solution to make the refs stop hating us is to make there be no refs. This would also be much better for the game if what is considered holding, PI, etc is 100% consistent from game to game. |
