The integrity of the shield didn't have a price tag before Roger Godhell took control of the NFL purse strings. In fact, Paul Tagliabue had to come in and over rule Der Kommissar when he over stepped his bounds.

Good old Roger is a snake in the grass!

Take the "officials" out of determining the outcome of games. With all the different camera angles a questionable call could stand as called or be reversed.

Two Words : Sky Judge They see what the TV fans see.

How many times did we watch Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman hit Tommy lee Lewis while the ball was in the air?

"THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT"
The NFL doesn't want "INTEGRITY" Follow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I agree, sky judge would be an excellent solution and one that will be introduced sooner than later. Believe me, the gambling industry wants a clean game more so than us fans.

That doesn't matter to the sport books. They basically get the same cut whichever side of the spread the score falls. It only affects the individual bettors.

It mattered to anyone who bet on the game at 7 points

I don't trust a sky judge either. We insulted the holy brotherhood fraternity of refs when we criticized their holinesses after the no call. They will never forgive us.

The solution we should push for is AI based officiating. Technology is advancing rapidly. Sensors can be be placed in the balls and AI can consider 50 video angles in a second. The code could be open sourced. The only solution to make the refs stop hating us is to make there be no refs. This would also be much better for the game if what is considered holding, PI, etc is 100% consistent from game to game.

I get the chips in the ball approach for placement calls, but AI based visuals on PI type calls can get pretty "busy".

But I agree on using technology where feasible.
