Olave throw was forced even the announcers said it he was covered. MT was WIDE OPEN. Way more open than Olave.

How can he be truly covered when the ball hit him in his chest?

Bruh you playing semantics with words "truly covered" Go rewatch the play then come talk to me. MT was clearly open for a back pylon TD and a easier throw. Thats my point. He throw the ball to MT it's a TD not a dropped pass

The point I’m making is plays are called for specific people. That play was obviously called for Olave and he was open. If your first read is open you don’t even look at your second read. I could see if the corner was in front of him ready to jump the route but he wasn’t. The corner stumbled and it gave Olave space to get open. He just dropped the ball fam.

The Falcons are down ten at the half against the Lions.

Olave maybe gets his left foot inbounds. I think the drop broke his concentration.

I’ll call that probably the best 1st half I’ve seen in a while.

Well, I’ll agree we had contributions from all three phases.

Yeah. He could have had it. He gets a pass for his earlier catch though.
