this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe the kicker has loved ones who would miss him if our oline did what it has been doing. He could have been rushing himself due to the oline struggles....

Re: Saints @ Packers Game Day Thread
10 of our 17 points came from special teams.
Offense is inept and it shows. Coaching, play calling, pass protection, top to bottom |

Agreed. He has looked to have gotten better every week. I guess he needed a little time to settle in. I hope he's ok. Kamara will hopefully be a big boost to this offense.

I’m not saying the guy is a great QB but damn, he ain’t the problem.

The defense had no time to rest once JW took over the game …. Not an excuse just a fact. After Carr went down the offense scheme did not look the same with JW.

This team's leadership thrives on excuses, so its not unexpected what happened once we got one. |

Re: Saints @ Packers Game Day Thread
Even with Carr, I don't think we'd have won.
There's been nothing from the first 3 weeks that shows me we'd be any different, no matter who is at QB. Carr made his own mistakes, missing a few wide open receivers. O line is atrocious. It's not like the offense suddenly got worse when Carr went down, they played exactly the same all game as they have the first 2 weeks. Just this week our D couldn't hold on. |
