Yeah. The current Saints are not even close to the same ballpark as those Saints of the late 70's and early 80's owned by John Mecom. He was the whole reason for the bagheads of that era. As tightfisted as they got. Gayle isn't afraid to spend money.

Seems like for some the definition of “Aints” has changed from

A) Worst team in the league.

To

B) Don’t look as good as the Super Bowl favorites.
