I think Jameis is a good fit for what they do, and there's no point in keeping him with him unfairly buried in our doghouse.

I know it's not wise to help a team coming up on our schedule, but that does give us some more leverage in negotiations. Getting O-line help, swapping punters or getting lower round picks would seem alright.
With a chance of winning the division and making playoffs as a divison winner or wild card... maybe... we're not going to trade anybody.

Saints need to take full advantage of a terrible NFC South division.

Keep an eye on the Saints upcoming opponent (Bears) tonight vs Chargers.

For reference - watching the 3-3 Bengals put a hurting on the 49ers who are 5-2. A few weeks ago the 49ers was 5-0 UNDEFEATED and unstoppable. They're going to lose their third game in a row and go 5-3 and suddenly Purdy doesn't look like Superman.

Saints are 4-4. That's how it goes in the NFL.

Is it too early to label him as “special”?

Last season (rookie) I was impressed with his fielding of punts/special teams.
This season, its his ability to get behind coverage & subsequent scoring as WR.

His ypc avg is ridiculous.

People say our OC needs to scheme people open. Then most or all of our improvement on offense can be attributed to 3 big plays where our QB told our highly underutilized Tyreek Hill clone to just run and threw him bombs. Thats got to be the opposite of the OC scheming anyone open, just a super fast dude running. I feel like PC is just getting in the way and we would be better if we had no offensive coordinator than with PC.
