Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Colts

Is it too early to label him as “special”?

Last season (rookie) I was impressed with his fielding of punts/special teams.
This season, its his ability to get behind coverage & subsequent scoring as WR.

His ypc avg is ridiculous.

Undrafted gem & Weber St finest

People say our OC needs to scheme people open. Then most or all of our improvement on offense can be attributed to 3 big plays where our QB told our highly underutilized Tyreek Hill clone to just run and threw him bombs. Thats got to be the opposite of the OC scheming anyone open, just a super fast dude running. I feel like PC is just getting in the way and we would be better if we had no offensive coordinator than with PC.

(Mis)Management is working on it, at least for a few more (sub)mediocre seasons.

Quarters coverage by the DB's.

As I understand it, quarters coverage puts Shaheed in a basic 1 on 1 matchup with the DB, with no safety help over the top.

A matchup that Shaheed has proven he will win numerous times.
