Not to be a Debbie downer for some of you flying on a high. I like the team we have on the field and believe there is a ton of potential there. While the team is certainly better than 5-4, what stands on the sidelines is not. That is the sh*t show which prevents me from seeing overall upside.
We are 5-4 and Top of the NFL South. Great We are also in a spot where if we do not win the division we could be out of wild card position, and have beaten no teams with a winning record. Other than the Colts, no team we have beaten has more than 2 wins and 3 of our 4 losses came to teams that are .500 or below. We are only beating loosing teams and 1/2 the time losing to losing teams which really curbs any potential for enthusiasm. While I do understand that optimism is more socially acceptable than pragmatism, I also know that Las Vegas was built on and is sustained by blind hope and optimism... Not winners. ![]() |
