this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; During the last game I was thinking, "why haven't I seen Payton Turner in a while?" I could google it, but thought I would ask you experts. Where the hell has he been?...

Pierre-Paul said he only wanted to sign with a contender. He has more confidence than some of the fans around here.

This is behavioral. Wen people do not know what to do, they generally resort to what they are familiar with.
Dennis Allen is so f***ing lost. He has a broken offense and is adding to the defense. It makes zero sense to consume cap for that. |

I have nothing against JPP, kind of like the player and yes maybe he has a few good pass rushes left in him.
That being said, I can't shake the feeling this is a "big name" signing to a minimum contract to try to draw attention away from the other tangible moves Mickey should be considering: punter/kicker replacement/tryouts, firing or bringing in other coaches to help Carmichael, stabilizing OL, etc. |

According to stats I've read he's no better than any DE on our roster at QB pressures per snap played last year.
