Report: Jason Pierre-Paul agrees to terms with Saints

During the last game I was thinking, "why haven't I seen Payton Turner in a while?" I could google it, but thought I would ask you experts. Where the hell has he been?

He's been on IR designated to return soon. I believe he's been doing cardio work to help get ready.

This could be the move to activate Pierre-Paul from the practice squad.

Pierre-Paul said he only wanted to sign with a contender. He has more confidence than some of the fans around here.

This is a player I won't hold my breath on. He's turning into Marcus Davenport 2.0. Some of these former 1st rounders (Davenport, Turner, Penning) are turning into duds & aren't helping on Sundays.

You used to say the same thing about Cesar Ruiz labeling him as a bust after his first season. He's now one of our most consistent starters.

This is behavioral. Wen people do not know what to do, they generally resort to what they are familiar with.

Dennis Allen is so f***ing lost. He has a broken offense and is adding to the defense.

It makes zero sense to consume cap for that.

Since we have very little contribution from WTFoskey and P Turner, we'll see just how much of what's left of his hand he can contribute.

I have nothing against JPP, kind of like the player and yes maybe he has a few good pass rushes left in him.

That being said, I can't shake the feeling this is a "big name" signing to a minimum contract to try to draw attention away from the other tangible moves Mickey should be considering: punter/kicker replacement/tryouts, firing or bringing in other coaches to help Carmichael, stabilizing OL, etc.
