Carr retiring would be a best case scenario but given the money on the table I doubt it happens. But if some players from the following list retired it could help force the teams hand on rebuilding versus 'win now' illusions: Thomas, Peat, Kamara, Ramczyk, Davis, Jordan, Mathieu, or Hill. Obviously Kamara and Hill still have it but so did Sanders and Johnson, and a concussion plus the saints issues could force their hand especially if they have a concussion or something, which would not be surprising with Carr's hospital balls. Ramczyk rests a lot and could retire early like Turley which might force a rebuild. Jordan and Davis have already proven all they can so if they don't want to force a trade to a contender or grind it out for a hopeless cause, retirement could make sense.
