My observation from the game was the amount of Lions supporters there were in the dome! When our offence were on it seemed like it was deafening! Lots of blue shirts everywhere! I guess the Saints fans selling their tickets to them just wanted their money back! Such a shame!

Hadn't seen any one post it but ...

Derek Carr did suffer another concussion on Sunday (Lions). That is #2 in a month. Per Allen he's also being evaluated for a rib injury.

I'm no doctor but you don't want to be out there gambling with concussions. Shut him down.

Side note - Malcolm Roach also suffered a knee injury that could require surgery, pending final eval.

Listening to the players post game press conferences last week and this week, hardly any of the players seem upset. Derek Carr did not care last week, he was laughing off what an incredible unexpected play the defender made to intercept him, when he answered with 0 TDs. Jameis Winston seems like the nicest guy in the world. Its like having Fred Rodgers as your backup QB. He didn't fight benching last year, doesn't want to go somewhere he could start, and in todays press conference he just stressed that the Saints coaches, players, and fans are all one family and just have to stick together to be happy. He can't fathom the concept that fans could be angry about bad management, coaching, and play, he just wants us to cheer happily forever so maybe they can win 8-9 games. We have seen in interviews that Kamara cares, and I bet that makes him a cap casualty or trade bait in the offseason. We don't see Kamara put in front of the camera on press conferences. So many of our players are just like Dennis Allen, glass is half full, we'll work on it, there are a lot of positives. CGJ would have none of this, he would put his reputation on the line trash talking St Brown and be mad as hell for a loss, thats why he was labeled a cancer, why he is gone. I think Dennis Allen is infecting the entire team with players who share his loser mentality, and we need to clean house as soon as possible.

The one upside of stacking the roster with players who don't care about winning or losing is that they can't be broken because they are always bending. If they get behind 21 points they won't stop trying as much as they always tried, because many of them don't care at all. Just like Jameis did not care about being benched. Just like Carr does not care about throwing interceptions. I have not heard Haener talk after a loss but I would guess he was drafted for the same mentality and likely shares it. Tom Brady would have none of this. He would not be all sunshine after a loss. We need winners, not a bunch of losers thinking the glass is half full at 5-7. Kamara is one of the only winners we have. And I respect Olave for showing some frustrations when we have struggled, it shows maybe he cares too.
Disagree.

The fact they didn't fold down 21-0 says a lot about the character of the team. Minus many starters they still battled back.

Presuming the league doesn't step in I'm sure we'll make every effort to rush Derek back before he's ready and overrule the spineless medical staff. This is a recurring theme going back to the Payton days.

There seems to be a predictable rhythm going:

Carr plays horrible -> Carr plays nominally better -> Carr takes a hard hit and gets knocked out of the game -> Carr comes back next week and plays abysmal because he's still banged up -> (Back to step 1)

Again and again, it’s almost criminal, the amount of talent, potential, and character we have out there (besides a top tier QB) that is being mismanaged, poorly trained an poorly coached, and simply lacks the discipline, focus and motivation that COACHING would correct and coordinate. We have a management problem that just AINT going away any time soon, unfortunately.

Y’all KNOW that Carr was never the answer, Dalton was never the answer, Winston was never the answer, Taysom, although an absolute monster of a baller, and an amazing Swiss Army Knife, was never the answer as a QB to replace Brees… Just as DA was never the answer to replace Sean Payton.

And here we are…

So the question is, what’s up with our Front Office?

You can also not fold because you don't care. When I play laser tag at a team building lunch with coworkers I don't give up if I am way behind, but thats not because I have amazing character. The players have a coach who will absolutely not be angry ever if they lose. So why should they worry if they are behind? Why should they try any differently if the message from coach is 'lets not keep score.' Why not just keep pursuing stats for their next contract negotiation and take advantage if the opponent with the big lead relaxes? Listen to the players post game press conferences. I just don't hear fight in many of them, I hear echoes of Dennis Allen. The fight is in the guys like Kamara and MT who they won't put in front of the camera, but those guys are being weeded out as cancers just like CGJ was.
