this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Thomas needs a fresh start badly, for his sake and ours. Too much baggage built up now and good chunk of it is the Saints own fault. Don't want him back....

His return to the Saints in 24 is much like his status on game days…Doubtful or out. |

Deleting his account is about 4 years overdue. Glass Joe needs to go.

Re: Michael Thomas deletes account after criticism for insensitive comment about Derek Carr’s injury
Carr shares some blame for certain things this year, one of the biggest ones I Believe is lack of accountability.
However, that being said, Michael Thomas has proven time and time again that he's a Twitter warrior. He appears to lack any form of maturity when it comes to adversity and can't let the team handle things. He just has to air his feelings on social media, sometimes disguising it as "just song lyrics." |

Re: Michael Thomas deletes account after criticism for insensitive comment about Derek Carr’s injury
I guess it was just a matter of time for MT to return to his old form. During his run up to being injured he had ruins with players and SP. I feel like what we were told or knew was the tip of the iceberg. Throw in his lack of commo withe the team an medical staff, complete fail on his part to effectively rehab or accurately gage his recovery lead to the first lost season.
Like Carr hate Carr he is not the only QB to throw a ball that brought some hurt to the receiver, happens to all of them. I remember the pounding Closton would take especially in the End Zone. Nobody call Brees out for setting him up. To take this to social media is high school drama BS. He is not a number 1 receiver anymore but yet carries the Prima Donna affectation. No way he should be brought back regardless of the cap hit …. |

I can't say I'm surprised with MT, he had several great years because of Brees and then immediately threw him to the wolves when Brees made comments about the American Flag. |
