Re: Would you want Belichick?
I would actually rather they go for a younger coach. Belichick may not coach for much longer.

Re: Would you want Belichick?
Would I rather have Belichick than DA? Yes.
Would I rather have Belichick than a trained monkey suffering from an acute gastrointestinal illness? Slightly closer call, but yes still. Would Bill Belichick be my top candidate as new HC? No. Its not that Brady made him, but rather that both he and Brady got too old and lost a step, and he happened to do so a few years earlier than Brady. He was great but at this point he is set in his ways with giving jobs to his old buddies and sticking with the system he always knew, because at his age he is too tired to burn the midnight oil coming up with a new system and risking his job to young upstarts who could outpace him innovating with a new system. No coach has ever won a Super Bowl with one team and went on to win again with another. Coaches who came up just short in their first long gig like Andy Reid and Dick Vermeil tend to be more hungry the second time around, so if we went with an older coach I would prefer Harbaugh or even Saban to Belichick, McCarthy, or Payton. Could Belichick win in Atlanta? I don't think so. They are not close to championship level, it would be a late career gig to get a few wins and try to even make the playoffs. I don't think Belichick has the energy to make something new. Also Atlanta has a dumb front office that can't evaluate the QB position and wasted all their draft capital on the worst positions to take in the 1st round: RB and TE. Could Belichick win it all in Dallas or Philadelphia? Perhaps. They are ready to compete now and just need a new coach who knows how to playoff. It hasn't been done before, but if you look at Brady he went to a team with a lot of stars that just needed a QB and some free agents he could attract, taking a short cut and ditching New Englands bad salary cap and lack of talent. Its possible that a similar short cut could get Belichick another ring. Its just unlikely because its never been done. |

Not unless Brady is with him. I think we all know who was running that championship train.

Re: Would you want Belichick?
I'd be fine if we did, cuz we'd know what we were getting (hopefully not Ditka 2.0) But I would honestly prefer someone new, younger. A lot of great young minds out there.

Re: Would you want Belichick?
He's a cheater and I don't want him. He's good coach but I don't like the man because I don't trust him. It's really that simple. What has he done without Brady anyway?
