His punting might look awkward to an American football fan that is unfamiliar with that style of kicking. Rather than punting straight through the ball, Hedley steps to the side and kicks it from a different body position sending the ball off at a different angle. Lou Hedley doesn't out kick his coverage teams. He consistently pins opponents inside the twenty and makes them drive the length of the field. My only concern is that him holding for kicks might be the reason we missed some easy field goals this year. It's not something he was familiar with when he came here. Laces Out! |
