Well, I did watch them thru most of the 70's and 80's so there's that. Unfortunately accepting sucking and mediocrity is in some our fandom's DNA.
I understand creating a winning culture is difficult, even more difficult than some want to believe or acknowledge; but I truly don't believe we are doing everything within our abilities to establish said winning culture.

I agree with this. I want us to win, but I also want to enjoy simply having our own team to enjoy. It seems some "fans" are constantly looking for ways to be miserable when it comes to our Saints.

MOST FANS don’t have to look for ways to be miserable.

I disagree with Underhill on bringing in new OC. Why do wholesale changes to the offense just when it is starting to jell. Only changes on offense I would make is Offensive linemen.

That would be one way of looking at the situation. The playcalling and execution definitely look far and away better than they had earlier this season and last year. But I can anticipate the response of "what took so long?"

But I could live with both Allen and Carmichael returning if for no other reason than pissing off that sinner guy.

I can just imagine how crazy he must be sounding these days.

LOL!

It would be an interesting hire. Knowing Allen's on the hot seat to begin with, what kind of candidates will you have interviewing for the job?

If Allen is retained, I wouldn't be surprised if they brought Joe Brady in for an interview given how he's familiar with the organization. I don't know how I would feel about that but if he could fix our offense, that dude would never pay for a meal in Louisiana again.

THIS ^^^ Is a quote that EVERYONE on this forum needs to look at, before engaging with you again.

Are you a SAINTS FAN, or a SADO-MASOCHIST?

So asking for a friend ... who'd be willing to come here that's a competent OC for what would in all likelihood be a one year gig at most? How large is the pool of candidates for such a hot job?
Rugby Saint II and K Major like this.
