It's likely nothing more than an educated guess at this point. The Saints front office or head coach is not going to say anything until the season is over. If someone from the Saints staff actually told this guy something, then shame on them.

Definitely an educated guess. There's a reason why that is the term for it. Because it's based upon knowledge. When you spend as much time around the Saints facilities as does Underhill, Triplett, and company you can sometimes pick up almost as much by what isn't said as from what IS said. I learned that much from my days covering sports in the ACC back in the day. You can almost figure out precisely what is going on by the way the SID (Sports Information Director) and staff dance around certain topics.

You can watch staff dance around certain topics for another two, maybe three seasons, maybe more… while watching our beloved Saints continue to suck.

Well, I did watch them thru most of the 70's and 80's so there's that. Unfortunately accepting sucking and mediocrity is in some our fandom's DNA.
I understand creating a winning culture is difficult, even more difficult than some want to believe or acknowledge; but I truly don't believe we are doing everything within our abilities to establish said winning culture.
