Re: The Final TD, DA's Lack of Authority, and the Consequence of Salary Cap Paralysis
Meanwhile, Jacksonville (they embarassed us in 2023) finishes second in their division & misses out on the post season.
Guess what ownership does this morning? Jags fire the ENTIRE defensive coaching staff including the DC. Teams that failed, missed out on the post season, under achieved are making moves to improve. But you have a N.O Saints organization that is committed to remaining mediocre & miss out on post season. Sitting on their hands, hoping and wishing with no real plan. Sad. |

They can hide and ignore the fans and public opinion. What they can’t run from are the hungry talented players that have a career in front of them, when they start asking to be traded is when someone will have to get off their ass and do their job.

Turns out the "player meeting" that Loomis called, was to reaffirm their agenda.
According to Saints media, Loomis said "certain parts of the team splintered under adversity and they are investigating that" Apparently the general message was Loomis saying, "if you aren't all in, they'll get rid of the players" Once again, they are blaming the players for the head coach being awful. Very close to being done with this team because of poor management. https://twitter.com/JeffDuncan_/stat...nP3vp0MrA&s=19 |

Literally.
Whilst other teams make changes, we are keeping a career loser with a 24-46 record. And not only that, Loomis seems to be going out of his way to protect him against the players. Like he's Vince Lombardi or something. I hope AK, Demario, MT13, Marshon etc all go and tell Loomis they are out. They deserve better. |
