Saints should also scout the CB position.

I believe there is a good chance Lattimore is traded this off season.

That would sting 🐝.

Needs: Defensive tackle
Needs: Offensive tackle
Needs: Guard
Biggest Need: Defensive end

I say DE as the "biggest" because we rank near the bottom half in lowest sacks & pass rush in 2023.

I'd target someone in the draft, however if the Saints opt in Free Agency I like Dorance Armstrong (Cowboys).

In the draft I like .. Jared Verse (Fl State)

But we have four 5th round picks and two 6th round picks. You can still pick up quality players in the 5th and 6th rounds (OG, RB, S, TE etc), but most likely projects at LT, QB, WR.

There's nothing to stop us from moving up into the 3rd and/or 4th rounds if there's someone we really want. And not to mention, we have a full compliment of 2025 draft picks to play with, as well.

Big 10 offensive lineman of the Year, doesn't give up sacks.

"Experts" predict he will become a quality LT at the next level.

Fun fact : Isaiah Foskey, Trevor Penning, Payton Turner & Marcus Davenport were all past Senior bowl participants ...

Maybe we shouldn't look too hard at this one

Starting around the 3:48 mark Jeff talks highly about Penning. He kinda of "hints" at possibly moving him INSIDE? IDK coach, this guy is borderline bust material.

Starting around the 3:48 mark Jeff talks highly about Penning. He kinda of "hints" at possibly moving him INSIDE? IDK coach, this guy is borderline bust material.

Mickey prepared kegs of kool-aid for the whole staff prior to the Mobile trip!

I do fear this team puts too much stock into the Senior Bowl and not enough into the player's full track record and college production. Gotta be careful with recency bias.
