At initial glance, the 2024 class appears a bit stronger on paper.

Oregon's Bo Nix is one of the headliners of the group. The former Auburn QB had some terrific moments in the SEC but has completely remade his game and become a more complete passer with the Ducks, so it will be interesting seeing him return to the state of Alabama as a more advanced prospect.

South Carolina's Spencer Rattler doesn't come with the same buzz he generated early in his college career, but that doesn't mean there isn't intrigue in the dual-threat passer. Tennessee's Joe Milton III is a bigger-bodied athlete with some similar traits. He's raw in some respects, but there is high upside.

Tulane's Michael Pratt might be the wild-card QB of the week. He improved with each season as a passer and raised the Green Wave program immensely. Notre Dame's Sam Hartman has thrown for 101 TDs his past three seasons combined, both with the Irish and at Wake Forest before that.

Right now, there are five quarterbacks committed to the Senior Bowl, so will we see at least one more added to the roster? LSU's Jayden Daniels and Washington's Michael Penix Jr. are two big uncommitted names to watch, with Nagy previously hinting we could see Penix in Mobile. That was prior to Washington's national-championship loss to Michigan on Monday, when Penix took some hard hits from the Wolverines.

The 2024 Senior Bowl rosters have been announced, barring a few late additions, and this year there’s a change—the “senior” bowl is allowing underclassmen as part of a new NFL rule that allows declared underclassmen to participate in all-star games.

Redshirt sophomores and juniors—players who have completed three years of college—can apply for special admission to the NFL prior to the hard deadline of January 15. These players can then be accepted to an all-star game like the Senior Bowl or Shrine Game.

Thanks to this, the 2024 Senior Bowl rosters are the deepest we’ve seen at multiple positions.

Let’s do a breakdown of each group and look at the best player from every position.

I think NT should be addressed early in the draft.

RT as well. Father Time has caught up with Cam Jordan so ... better grab an athletic DE while you're at it. Preferably within the first 3 rounds.

I wonder how many players will come from the Senior bowl next year? The Saints mine for treasure at the Senior bowl.

Although the draft is deep, QB feels like a luxury when the O line could be without Peat and Ram next season and little depth behind them..

I'm looking for O and D linemen. Another WR as well.

We are going to miss out on Jayden Daniels, because Allen is the coach.

Or he may go top 10. In which case it's hard to justify the capital it'll take to move up.

Daniels, Nix or Penix Jr could ALL be sitting there when it’s the Saints pick & they are adamant about NOT selecting a QB.

Loomis wants to be right so bad with a mediocre, 33 year old QB & a terrible HC.

Saints gotta start hitting home runs with their draft picks.

I hope Longhorns Outland winner DT Sweat will be there in the second round. Sweat and Bresee would be a nice interior tandem.
