Maybe it's time for that sinner guy hater to move on to another franchise. I see he hasn't changed at all.

OH btw, one more thing. A **** meal is being a Falcons fan who again finished behind us and is again looking to find direction to their franchise!

A **** meal is Arizona only winning 4 again and trying to figure out how to compete in a division with the Niners and Rams. A **** meal is being a Jets Fan happy with 7 wins because it’s the most your team has had in 9 seasons and they finally are better that the Pats.

What the Saints gave this year was a decent meal. It wasn’t the best…it may have been overpriced…but it was tasty and a clean restaurant. Some folks turned it to **** because they didn’t like the whine list or wanted a better table.

Well that’s certainly one way to look at it.
If we were in rebuild mode, I’d be optimistic and content in our progress. We have a roster to win now and we couldn’t even make the f**king playoffs in a weak division. I expected more, and rightfully so

You make solid points, I just see it differently

for one that claims to "ignore", you sure do let the ignoree's (?) opinion, get to you, you seem to have the need to pull one's (your) string to spew your worthless opinion ..... :beatnik:

Hey, I'm not saying I'm right or that DA is the guy. I just don't want to be a fan and come on to a Saints 'Fan" sight and be pounded with nothing but negativity. That's what life is for.

This brings up an interesting question. Would you consider any team that doesn't win the SB to be in "rebuild mode"? That's hard to define.

Good question, Boston. Very commonly "rebuild modes" tend to become perpetual in franchises. Detroit has been rebuilding since 1957. Atlanta since 1966.

That's why I set a small handful of these perpetual haters to "ignore". I can still share news of the team I love and "mostly" not deal with those that constantly spew the hate.

I hear you, but taking in to consideration where we’re at and what we’ve been accustomed to, it’s hard to find much optimism anywhere you look, not just this site, when it comes to this team, especially when it appears the franchise is headed into being content with mediocrity

Quido, everybody knows by now that your “IGNORE” function is as impotent as our current Head Coach. Please adjust your settings.

No not really. I think there’s a lot of teams in win now mode and don’t make the Super Bowl, Dallas being one of them, and I’m sure there’s not much positivity on their boards right now.
I define rebuild mode when a GM decides to change direction after the current team and/or coaching in place is not effective anymore. It gives the franchise a chance to clear some cap space, get rid of aging players that arent as productive and/or older players that are about to reach that point but still have some trade value left in them. Build through the draft to gain a younger team while still keeping key players that can contribute to the new direction you’re heading.
You’re right, it can be hard to define because there are different levels of rebuilding. What I just stated would be an extreme case. At any rate, that’s what I would define as a rebuild team, and the Saints aren’t there
