Re: Official 2024 Saints Draft Discussion
Wow we are meeting with everyone at the positions we are definitely not going to draft. I guess lets go for the hat trick and meet with some Centers while we are at it. The only way I could see drafting a corner making sense would be if we traded Adebo for a first round pick in order to attempt to pull some sort of Diggs-Jefferson coup at corner. Otherwise we are good with Adebo, Taylor, and Yiadom even if Lattimore is traded.

Re: Official 2024 Saints Draft Discussion
Id be shocked if Fashanu or Alt fell to us, but that should absolutely be our pick if either one is there. I believe there will be a few appealing tackles that’ll be there at the back half of the first and that gave me a thought…
A scenario that would be cool is if Alt or Fashanu isn’t there at 14 then trade back to around the 20-23 area which would also require their second round pick as well. Trade Lattimore for a second( I don’t think we’ll get a first due to his durability issues). Then we’d have a first, three seconds, three fifths, a sixth, and a seventh. We could also use those later picks to move up in the third if desired, then we’d have five picks in the first three rounds. We could pick up some nice talent with that. I know it’s not probable due to needing a team interested in both situations and a GM that doesn’t trade down, but not impossible. |
