Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion

Hopefully Peterman is more of a 3rd /4th QB to fill the Book / Bortles role in camp. I dont think he is a credible #2 QB in the NFL and he is not even young anymore and I would feel more comfortable with Haener or Hill under center, but we need camp players. I think/hope the articles reporting him as a replacement for Winston are wrong, we may replace Winston internally, or in the draft, but Peterman is not Winston, he is Bortles.

There is actually a principle named after him I believe.

Peterman spent the last two seasons with the Bears and he made one start during the 2022 season. Current Saints quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko had the same job on the Bears staff during those campaigns and that familiarity likely helped bring Peterman to New Orleans.

Not overly optimistic, but perhaps the tree will grow in the right soil... or maybe it's just a stunted tree.

Peterman sucks, if Haener can't beat him out then he needs to be cut.

Corey Davis is coming out of retirement. 6'3 and supposedly a good blocker. Perhaps a good bargain option if we need another receiver.

I could easily see him outperforming Darnell Mooney who the Falcons just gave $39 million to and only costing us a few million.

I would have to agree, but when DA is fired it will change!

Wilson Jr seems like a depth signing. Most likely to fill a #3-5 WR role.
