You're silly but this is some of the silliest stuff you've posted.
You never know. It certainly wasn't the money. It most certainly could have been a factor. And it wasn't only a few fans. There were bloggers out there posting all kinds of derogatory crap. Social media can be brutal. I've heard many an athlete talk about the presence of or the lack of respect in the community and its affect, be it positive or negative. Believe it or not players are not totally void of feelings.

All others things being equal I can't see it not being in his mind. It most certainly would be in most of ours.

I thought you said (repeatedly) that nothing we say makes any difference in what we see (or don’t see) on the field, and that we should just keep quiet while being dished heaping scoops of mediocrity, or as you say, find another team to root for?

Do you have any sources to back your speculation? The truth is the only ones who know are Peat and those within the organization. Please remember we as fans shouldn’t believe or speak of anything unless it comes from a place of blind optimism.

Heard a rumor Radiers are opening up a Popeyes Sandmich Station in the team cafeteria.

Re: Official 2024 General Off-Season News

10. Derek Carr, NO

I could see an argument for Carr being anywhere from 8-11 on this list, but in the end, I decided to put him below Mayfield and Purdy at the No. 10 spot. He was very injured last season, so I don’t doubt that he can have a better season this year, but I just don’t know if he has the ability to take an offense that has some good playmakers and make them elite. Plus, Saints fans were spoiled with Drew Brees for so long that it’s hard to watch anyone else take the field and be as impressed.
