Thanks for sharing Guido. When I saw the receivers catching rugby balls at practice I got so excited that I literally jumped up and screamed YES!!! You were right. I do like this, and agree that it is a great way to increase your grip as a receiver.
A rugby ball is much larger, spins slower, has a longer hang time, and is infinitely easier to catch. I know. I have terrible depth perception but can still track a rugby ball in the air. I am excited to see some new techniques and training scenarios that actually benefit the player. The Saints were definitely overdue for a new approach to practices and developing players. I am impressed with Kubiak and I can't wait to see the positive changes to this team that he's bringing. |

We signed another interior lineman. Lucas Patrick looks like a sneaky good late pick up. It's too early to tell but our depth on the line may be better this year than last year. I don't know who our starting five are but at this point I don't believe we have better starters than last years worrisome unit.
