That isn't Kumbaya. That's reality. Whether I can deal with another year of Dennis Allen on the sidelines is irrelevant. Dennis Allen is going to be the head coach of the Saints for 2024. He is going to be on the sidelines.

I think you misunderstand where I'm coming from. I'm not saying that your complaints are not valid. If the goal is to field a squad that has a realistic chance of winning a championship in it's current form, the Saints fall significantly short of that goal. And you are probably right that a change in leadership at multiple levels is likely necessary for that to be accomplished.

But none of those changes are going to happen now. The cake for 2024 is baked. If you don't like, at this point all you can do is choose not to eat it.

I'm not asking you not to be angry. I'm not asking you not to complain. All I'm asking is that you put all that vitriol in a single spot on this forum so that the rest of us who have in fact come to the acceptance phase of whatever the 2024 Saints are going to be can at least talk about it.

But as I already said, that's not your objective. Your objective is to make everyone else as angry with the Saints as you are by screaming at anyone who dares to say anything about the current construction of the team other than it needs to be blown up. Guess what? Talking about this team, in it's current form, is the entire purpose of this site. Which means that every post, every thread is a target for you. That doesn't work.

And so, since you're going to complain, I'm just going to keep asking you how do you fix it. Who do you get in here after you've blown up the team? It's the only constructive conversation I can have with you, so I will have that.

There are at least 6 leadership positions in the Saints organization that you want changed. Pick any one of them at start discussing who can fill those positions and what changes they should make. Since it isn't reality, you are free to speculate. There are a lot of football people out in the world. Talk about how some of those football people can make the Saints better instead of just complaining that the current football people in place are not good enough.

You are as free to continue asking me to do anything, as I am free to complain about the Saints continuing to disappoint. I on the other hand, am not asking YOU to do anything.

I've been spending so much time dealing with Sinner, that I have not posted anything about this thread. Here are my Reasons to be positive:

1. The Saints No fly Zone secondary is back in full effect. The team is smart to continue to reload in this area.

2. The tackle position has been upgraded. It'll be interesting to see how KK's scheme functions with this O-line.

3. TH7 seems poised to be the Ultimate Weapon in this new offense. I hope that we see him on the field a lot more than in Carmichael's scattered scheme.

4. While the first 6 games are front loaded with the Cowgirls, Eagles, and Chiefs, it also has 3 division games which if the Saints can dominate like they did the last 3 division games of last season, would put them in a good position with a much lighter 11 games on the backend.

Just ignore Sinner, not with the B&G “Ignore List”, but by moving immediately past all responses with the tortuous blue profile creature for his most current victims post of origin in italics.

It will make your B&G life better because he is just Troll looking for opportunity to add “clicks/posts” with his repeated passive aggressive positions.

A little bit of self preservation goes a long way SFIAH.

Re: Reasons To Be Positive

If I'm ranking my positives, highest to lowest (but still positive)

1. Kubiak
2. Carr improvement (end of season + new OC)
3. Secondary
4. Veteran starters
5. Potential of O Line
6. Potential of D Line

Re: Reasons To Be Positive

My reason to be positive about this season is that it's a new year. It's that simple. I don't have any expectations to be honest so I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Nothing has changed in regards to having the talent to here to win games. Hopefully we can remain relatively healthy and make something happen.

YOU DO YOU! Of course you are asking me to do something. You are asking me to let you complain in peace.

Your complaining is unproductive because absolutely nothing comes of it. At least make it productive by telling us how the Saints turn this around to your satisfaction. Who out there is our Brad Veach and Andy Reid. What can a new GM do that Loomis isn't doing now, which is obviously keeping Dennis Allen instead of getting rid of him and bringing someone else in. Who is that someone else?

Look at the 2024 coaching class. Anyone there you would have replaced Allen for? Who would have a good fit here. My brother wanted Jim Harbaugh in the worst way.

Here a list of 2025 HC prospects. Can any of them turn the franchise around in your mind?

Ben Johnson, Lions OC.
Pete Carroll, former Seahawks HC. ...
Ejiro Evero, Panthers DC. ...
Aaron Glenn, Lions DC. ...
Shane Waldron, Bears OC. ...
Brian Flores, Vikings DC. ...
Frank Smith, Dolphins OC. ...
Al Harris, Cowboys assistant. ...
Mike Vrable
Bill Belechik

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

I agree with all of those, but would add health to the Carr point. He was playing injured from the halfway point of game three against the Packers. He didn't look fully healthy until about week 14 against Carolina. We were a combined 6-1 with Carr playing what appeared to be pain free (mostly) and he had us up 17-0 in that first half against the Packers before leaving with the injury. So let's just say he went 6.5-1, instead.

As for the o-line, I'm expecting Jordan to be back to more like his old self. He struggled with that bum ankle all season long. That affected his play far more than an additional trip around the sun.

Only one small disagreement here. I think with Fuaga I think the Saints may have locked down one side of the tackle equation for a decade. Think Penei Sewell level of talent.

Every season hangs on a bunch of ifs. Health first and foremost. The Saints defense generally keeps them in games. What will be interesting is if the offense can deliver when the chips are down.

Honestly I don't see anyone on that list that would come with any guarantees of making things at the top any better. I seriously think the game has passed both Belichick and Pete Carroll by. The only other one with a decent bit of HC experience is Vrabel and after his somewhat hot start (aided tremendously by one Derrick Henry) his final two years were a dismal 7-10 and 6-11.

No can do. I've tried ignoring him. I've tried other suggestions with him. He is here to destroy this board with his vitriol because the Saints as an organization won't make the changes necessary to bring multiple SuperBowl wins to New Orleans.

So, it's time to hold him accountable. He complains about what he doesn't like. He screams that the Saints needs a complete reorganization from the owner down. But he has no clue as to how to actually do that. And there are other NFL organizations (Panthers, Commanders) that have gone that route which are now in shambles.

I do apologize because I know this is annoying as hell. But this season will be even worse if he goes unchallenged on this because it'll just be all complaints, no potential solutions, and in each and every thread that is posted.

It has got to stop. This is now year 3. It has got to stop.
