Good enough to for 12th in the entire league. My guess is that there were probably a few Sold Out games last season. No reason to believe that it won't happen this year as well. Just an educated guess, but it appears that ticket sales are NOT an issue.

This is absolutely true.

By the way, the recorded attendance at NFL games are butts in the seats. Every game was sold out, but not all were fully attended. There are no general admission tickets available through the team box office, nor will there be for years to come. Every game is technically sold out for the foreseeable future given the long waiting list for season tickets. Any tickets purchased during the season are solely through third party vendors.

I expect the Saints to have the same number of both unsold tickets and playoff wins as Taylor Swift during the next 12 months. If this makes Taylor Swift a good football team it makes Dennis Allen a good head coach and Mickey Loomis’s 2018-2023 GM strategy good (Loomis has not done anything especially terrible this offseason YET though he could have done better too).

As to the forseeable future, it depends on your definition of forseeable. It costs nothing to join the season ticket wait list and you lose nothing if your name comes up and you decline. A large number of both season ticket holders and wait list members are probably out of town scalpers. Scalpers are only interested in making money and wont want to pay for tickets if they will take a loss on a doormat team nobody excited to watch. If fan sentiment goes negative enough it could easily be forseeable to me that 25,000 scalpers and 10,000 fans could drop their tickets, all 300,000 or whatever scalpers on the wait list could say no thanks, and even if 200,000 fans are on the wait list, it could be hard to get 35,000 of them to buy low and pay and thousands for season tickets to see Trevor Penning repeatedly audition for a lead role in Romeo and Juliet with his convincing on field rendition of the penultimate scenes.

Why not go update your goofy assed IHateLoomis.org or whatever you call it. You and your flunkies aren't going to kill this site as much as you all try.

Maybe just stop pretending to IGNORE me, and we might actually have a conversation about The Saints, instead of it always being about me.

Re: Reasons To Be Positive

Anyway....this thread is about reasons to feel good about the team. It's Saints football. Time to have hope! If you disagree why don't you open a thread of reasons to be pessimistic. This thread is supposed to get fans ready for some comradery and Saints football.

Re: Reasons To Be Positive

This used to be such an enjoyable and informative site by some very knowledgeable people with all things Saints related. But like others on here I am another that is sick and tired of the personal back and forth bickering bullsh*t that high jacks every damned thread that gets started. I lay the blame on both sides. At least Quido tries to post informative information about the Saints most of the time but that doesn’t let you off the hook my friend. As for Sinner and a couple of others Quido is living rent free in y’all’s freaking heads. All you do is post negative this and negative that about the Saints and how they will never win under this regime or head coach or owner or GM or janitor or something in between jabs at Quido for existing but yet never, as another on here so aptly put it, offer any educated guesses or what if’s or what do y’all think should be done to field the kind of team YOU would like to see.
There used to be conversations like that all up and down this site. Now every time someone tries to start one like that y’all get started before the thread is barely two or three replies old. Y’all have systematically taken a once great site and turned it into a shell of its former self.
I swear y’all act like a bunch of high school girls sometimes.
It has gotten beyond old and it needs to STOP!!!
The occasional disagreement between two people is fine but y’all have made it a personal vendetta to attack each other at every opportunity.
Sinner, as for the team you want to have you go to war with the army you have not the one you wish you had. Maybe things will change to your liking over the next year or so but for right now we have what we have and we’ll have to wait and see how things shake out.
I for one am optimistic about the season. But I am not going to be so bold as to predict a winning season as if I know it’s going to happen just as you and others have guaranteed a losing season just because you don’t like the people running things. You could very well be right and we end up in the cellar. I don’t think that’s going to happen but I don’t know the future and neither do you.

What goes around comes around!
