Looks like you.. umm...make **** up as you go. have system 1 cognitive bindless.. do not understand what I have said.

It is the players obligation to go after every dollar he can using every tactic he can because Loomis is going to take away every dollar he can using every tactic he can. Some people can not separate the entertainment industry side from the business side.

Football as a sport ends in college probably high school.

...even beating on innocent people and subsequently charged with assault and battery. give me a break. AK is a thug and should not even be playing in the NFL. :beatnik:

I didn’t “umm make sh*t up as I go” when I watched Football as a younger Man, and it wasn’t high school or college football, and even if it was about the money, or just a fraction of the money that these entertainers make today, they went out into the mud and balled their @sses off. Maybe you’re still just a kid, and never got to see how the game was played at the PROFESSIONAL level, even just a few short decades ago, but I will agree with you on the fact that in general, Football is pretty much ending as a sport, and even as “entertainment”, especially in New Orleans.

He’s like the 18th highest paid QB right now, which is right about where he ranks as a QB in the league. He had the 16th highest QBR last year. $37 million really isn’t a lot to being a QB in 2024. Goff is getting $50 million a year to manage games in a similar fashion to Carr. Like I said previously, if he stinks it up take the cap hit and move off of him next year. I don’t feel like we’re in doomsday mode. It’s a make or break season for both Carr and Allen.

With ALL DUE RESPECT (to you, not to them), we heard the exact same thing about Allen and Carr this time last year. And here we are. Again…

Best AND worst case scenario, they both “perform” just adequately enough to stick around.

I understand the pessimism, bruh. I really do.

Re: ALVIN KAMARA posts cryptic messages on social media amid contract saga

Kamara is already under contract and his agent could be professionally disgraced and committed to an institution if he urged a 29yo rb coming off a down year to hold out because he is only slated to make $12 million. We dont need to sign Kamara, he is under contract and will play. Loomis needs to stick to his guns.

Just because something is proportional does not mean it is fair. I would not consider half price for a single shoe a great deal. I would not want pay half Wembayans rookie salary and the #2 overall pick in the nba draft for a 3ft 8in center. Likewise, paying 18th highest salary for the 18th best qb is actually a bad deal. If your qb is mediocre, you want their salary to be practically free or you are losing. Paying 75% of Mahomes salary for a proven mediocrity and being able to spend the difference for Ram to watch Tv or Kamara to make 30th bday plans is never going to win a ring.

The Lions are a unique situation. Basically they are paying Bobby Hebert $50 million a year. They were irrelevent so long that being a decent playoff team is a revelation to them. They won their division maybe for the first time in franchise history. Goff is an average QB but with their situation he had all the leverage and since they were already winning now they could not risk a reset. The Saints are not doing anything very impressive with Carr and should not be as desperate to settle for mediocrity at QB.
