Well, the pipe would have been a good excuse for you. Sorry I misjudged.

Tough times. Reality is, they probably won’t make the post season. But I’m hopeful for the team now. I wouldn’t mind seeing them continue to win, even if they don’t make the post season and even if it costs them dropping in the draft.

I just want to see more of a winning culture and attitude from them. More energy and more accountability.

I have a good feeling about the future.

As a "true fan" I never falter, hesitate, and vacillate (ie. waver) when it comes to supporting my Saints.

Saying "never waiver" makes no sense. Learn the meaning of the words, dude.

Missed your meds again?

SMARTass? Yes, I am SMART!
You, as usual BRING UP THE REAR!!! SIRIUSLY! (Yes, I did it again!!)

"As a "true fan"
but can't appreciate a football related PUN? The substitution of WAIVER for WAVER? Not much PUN in your life, is there?

SMART people know "PUNS" when they read them. Those bringing up the rear don't

It’s one thing to be a fan who never wavers, but to be a fan that embodies the mindset of a culture that thrives on mediocrity (barely that), basically equates being a Saints Fan with quite simply being a Loser. I know you can’t or won’t see it, because I’ve been saying the same thing to you for three years, and you’re still shaking your pompoms at “winning is not the goal”.

I am a diehard Saints Fan, but I’ll be cheering for other teams today, and into the Playoffs, because they PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. Have fun today.

We are not making the playoffs. There will be games we dont score a TD and we will tend to lose those. MVS is our #1 receiver at this point, and has career 50% hands that Reid and Mahomes could not fix, so for the games where he catches 100% and the games where he catches 50%, the games where he catches 0% are coming. There are secondaries in the league that will be able to shut down MVS and Austin, and that will put pressure on Hill and Kamara to carry the offense. Hill and Kamara are very old for their positions and are taking more snaps than every before and being depended on to take all the hits in the offense, they will miss games. We will probably not win those games. I am sorry but the reality is that a team with MVS as #1 WR and a 34yo coming off broken ribs as the focal point of the offense is not going on an 8 game winning streak. There is no world where that level of excellence with that makeup is sustainable.

Don't get me wrong. We could finish with Rizzi having a record about .500 and if we do, we should consider retaining him. It would be an accomplishment. But perfection is not a realistic expectation when you look at our roster and injuries and realize that the underlying reasons those injuries occurred remain, the previous injuries have left us with weaknesses that weak opponents masked, and more injuries will follow.

I seriously doubt there will be games where we don't score a TD.
