I get nervous about the prospect of people who don’t live or fully understand the culture of NOLA buying the team.
The Saints are as much a part of Louisiana as Louisiana is a part of the Saints. Some rich dude who doesn’t give a hoot about either would want to buy them and move them closer to his “hometown” so he can create a franchise there have his own legacy. Honestly that makes me sick to think about. Careful what you wish for. |
