Houston Rockets Owner Wants To Buy Saints! | What's Next For New Orleans Post Gayle Benson Era?

I get nervous about the prospect of people who don’t live or fully understand the culture of NOLA buying the team.

The Saints are as much a part of Louisiana as Louisiana is a part of the Saints.

Some rich dude who doesn’t give a hoot about either would want to buy them and move them closer to his “hometown” so he can create a franchise there have his own legacy.

Honestly that makes me sick to think about.

We had a rich owner from Texas for our first 18 years & he didn't care if we won or not... so we lost a lot! It was terrible!

His was named John Mecom Jr.
