They overpaid for Carr and instantly made him a team captain. They treated him like Brees 2.0 out of the gate, which was unfair for all involved. DA coached and spoke with overt favoritism toward Carr, which hurt Carr's relations with both his teammates and the fans. If they would've treated Carr similar to the non-descript way that Dalton was handled, a lot of misfortune and animosity could have been avoided. Instead, Mickey/DA put Carr in a situation where he was destined to be viewed in the worst light as problems arose. Only a special leader like Brees or Brady could've navigated all of this. Carr's not that kind of guy, and his interpersonal shortcomings got amplified. |

Remember it was good ole SEAN PAYTON hisself who "Anointed" DA to be his successor. I believe he did everything he could to undermine the franchise who gave him his "Big Break". Don't forget Payton didn't want to live in New Orleans after seeing what Katrina had left him. He wanted to stay in "BIG D" and commute. Everything he did FOR THE SAINTS left the front office looking backward after he departed and didn't see the cliff he had steered the team toward prior to his "retirement" . As for all the coaches and former players who went with him. They are now the O in the BRONCO REAR END AKA, Sean PaytOn! |
