Our current draft position

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Please do not be fooled by Young's performance this year. There are teams that still have him projected as a wide receiver in the NFL, and I'm not sure that will change, regardless of what he does on the field....

BlackandBlue, you seem to know alot, if Leinart were not available, who would you select? And, if you did not select a QB, what would you do concerning the QB position?

If Leinart was not available, and I was looking for a QB, Quinn immediately comes to mind.

He's smart, can run his offense efficiently and effectively, has been a winner his entire life, and...and...and...he's had a year under his belt, working with one of the top offensive coordinators in the NFL, as recently as last year, who also happens to be wearing three super bowl rings.

1+1=2

I like Quinn, too. I would much rather him over Young, but are you sure that he will be entering the draft this year?

He's a junior and he's 21, so he's elligible. Unless he wants to pull a Leinart on everyone....

... Marcus Vick is a fraud, as exposed by the Hurricanes...
... can't see Young as an NFL QB... guess some people see another Vick...
... I'd take Quinn over Leinart...

Why? Because we are so used to mediocre quarterbacks that we have learned to love them? Leinart is going to be a stud... just like Carson Palmer is becoming

I know everybody is crazy about Leinart and Young but they just don't seem right for me. I just possibly see a bust in Leinart??? I know!!! I Know!!! But that is just what I see. My opinion only.
Peace
