Happy Thanksgiving

I am finally back in New Orleans, home for the holidays. While the devastation is as depressing as it is widespread, I am amazed at the progress and the enthusiasm that has infected the people who have come back to reclaim their lives.

We have much to be thankful for this holiday. We have survived and will conquor the greatest challenge any city in this country has or probably will face. The class and dignity exhibited by many is inspiring.

Congrats that you're back! I sold my duplex a few days ago but I'm looking for something to rent uptown now.

Yes, New Orleans is coming back. It will probably be better and stronger than ever, no matter what 60 minutes says. And yes services and facilities are coming back online. And the French Quarter is back up.

Congrats to all you guys who have made it back to New Orleans. I too will be making my first visit to that fair city in January for Pardi Gras. Good luck to all of you and may God bless you all. Happy Thanksgiving.
